          various firearms and the legal and
          moral responsibilities pertaining to
          them.  Class will visit a variety
          of shooting ranges and facilities
          (approx. 8 - 10 visits).
          Students will be responsible for
          paying range fees, ammunition
          purchase, and rental of firearms,
          plus ear and eye protection.
          Students completing course will
          receive certification for:  NRA
          Home Firearm Safety Course, NRA
          Personal Protection Course, and
          the Virginia Hunter Safety
          Course.  Combined classroom and

          various analytical, political, and
          legal approaches to the study of
          terrorism.  Specifically, issues
          in terrorism will be assessed from
          legal and law enforcement
          perspectives.
          Beginning with an analysis of the
          organization dynamics and rationales
          for terrorism.  Discussions will
          address the history of terrorism,
          recent terrorist campaigns and
          tactics, government counterterrorism
          initiatives, and problems for the
          U.S. criminal justice system and
          international law.
