BIO 299  SUPERVISED STUDY                     4cr 
         FIELD BIOL/BAHAMAS

          Six week 06/01/98 07/08/98
          Class meets four Mondays (June 1-
          22), 1900-2150, on WO campus for
          lecture/orientation.  Remainder of
          class (June 27-July 8) will be
          spent on Andros Island in the
          Bahamas.  Students must register
          for class and pay 4 credits tuition.
          In addition, there is a fee of
          $1,290 which includes housing, meals,
          and travel to Andros Island from
          Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
          Tuition and fee do not cover cost of
          transportation to Fort Lauderdale
          which is the responsibility of
          student.
          Student must provide mask, snorkel,
          and fins.  Non-refundable deposit
          of $400 due by May 6.  Balance
          must be paid by May 27.  Tuition
          is to be paid to NVCC; fee is to be
          paid to Center for Field Studies
          at GMU.  Call instructor at (703)-

          Class will proceed except in the
          event of severe weather conditions.
