A signature from a counselor is needed to enroll; registration must be done in-person. STD 195 TOPICS IN: 1cr FINANCING EDUCATION 3661 02N T 1100-1150 CF 0213 Bailey, C This course will explore the various procedures and resources to financing a college education. It is designed for students interested in investigating the Financial Aid process and exploring additional financial options. STD 195 TOPICS IN: 1cr SERVICE LEARNING 3899 03N T 1400-1450 CF 0213 Copeland, T Section 03N will assist students in identifying community service and learning opportunities This will include completing at least one community service project, discussions on current events, and other issues related to the role of each citizen within the community. STD 295 TOPICS IN: 1cr STUDENT SUCCESS 5427 02N R 1000-1050 CF 0213 McGinnis, W This section is designed for students who are experiencing academic difficulty. Emphasis will be on improved study skills and effective time management strategies. Remaining assignments will be completed on a self-paced basis on topics such as life planning and social, political, and cultural issues. Students must purchase the Developmental Advising Inventory (DAI) from the campus bookstore and bring it to class. 3703 46N S 0900-1400 CF 0213 Hipp, J This class will meet on three Saturdays: 3/28, 4/11, and 4/25 and will emphasize the practice and development of critical thinking skills. ATTENDANCE at all three sessions is required to pass the course. 3742 47N S 0900-1300 CF 0213 Wray, K This section will meet one Saturday, March 28, 0900-1300. After one class meeting, the remaining assignments will be completed on a self-paced basis on topics such as life planning and social, physical, political, and cultural issues.
