          rowing.  All abilities and fitness
          levels welcome.  No prior knowledge
          needed.  Fee of $30 per student must
          be paid by first class meeting.

          transportation.

          Class will meet four Thursdays on
          WO campus--Aug. 29, Sept. 5,
          Sept. 12, and Oct. 10--from 1100 to
          1230 and take two overnight trips on
          Sept. 14-15 and Sept. 28-29.
          Students must be able to handle the
          physical rigors of backbacking.
          Smoking will not be permitted during
          trips.
          Students must supply own
          transportation.  Trip dates
          dependent on weather.
