          PLS 100 requires all students to
          meet for first class August 24 at
          10:00 a.m. and last class on
          December 14 at 10 a.m.  Remaining
          classes are scheduled at convenience
          of student.  Requires use of
          telephone conferences, voice mail,
          individual study sessions with
          instructor or tutor.
          An on-line computer conference is
          optional; those participants may use
          their own computers and modems or
          workstations in campus computer labs.
          Requires viewing films scheduled for
          the Extended Learning Institute
          sections of PLS 211-212; films may
          also be viewed in on-campus learning
          centers.

          This is a course for students who
          wish to tutor non-citizens who are
          preparing to become U.S. citizens.
          Students must be currently enrolled
          in PLS 211. Students must attend
          weekly training sessions and tutor
          two hours each week.
