requires viewing eight one-hour televised lectures,
reading a textbook, and following a course guide.

study skills, time and stress management, learning
styles, diversity, test taking, health, resources,

STD 106 94 Preparation for Employment 1 McCreight
Requires a few trips to an NVCC campus and/or
community sites. Covers job-seeking skills such as
resume writing and interviewing.
STD 107 94 Career Education 2 McCreight
Covers self-assessment and career exploration.
Requires several trips to an NVCC campus/and/or
career center. Included is use of M.B.T.I. as career
exploration tool.
