STD 100 ORIENTATION 1cr 1733 01N M 1100-1150 CF 0213 Wright, K Section 01n provides students with the academic tools for success and teaches the skills of self-management and self-responsibility that relate to being a successful student. Helps students learn how to make responsible choices about their academic, personal, and career goals. 1735 02N M 1300-1350 CF 0213 Tucker, J Section 02N is a web based course. ONE MANDATORY session is required, Monday, 1300-1350, January 13, 2003. Covers study skills, test- taking, college policy and student success. 1743 03N M 1800-1850 CF 0213 Credle, J Section 03N will focus on success strategies for adult students returning to school after five or more years. Upon registration of this class, call (703) 323-3205 before 1/6/03. 1767 04N T 1100-1215 CF 0213 Withers, W Secton 04N is only for English As A Second Language students enrolled in Level III or above. Topics include money management, campus resources, celebration of diversity and others. 1957 10N R 0900-0950 CF 0213 Wright, K Section 10N will focus on using the technology resources found in the Annandale Campus LRC including the Reading, Language, Math, Computer, Tutoring, Writing, and Testing Centers, the Library and EAAS Computer Centers. STD 295 TOPICS IN: 1cr DIVERSITY AWARENESS 2019 01N R 1400-1450 CF 0213 Tucker, J Section 01N is designed to introduce students to college success skills, and to encourage students to think critically about issues involved with living and working in a diverse environment. STD 295 TOPICS IN: 2cr COMMUNITY SERVICE 3626 02N W 1100-1245 CF 0213 Turner, M Section 02N is designed for students who are interested in service to their community; it will focus on the individual's responsi- bility as a contributing member of a democratic society. The course will utilize a service-learning format that combines academic activities with service. This class begins Wednesday, January 22, 2003.
