          protective equipment. Downwind
          hazard predictions. Detection

          This course presents an historical
          perspective of the use of forensic
          evidence in major cases such as the
          Linburgh kidnapping investigation
          and moves to the current time with a
          discussion of various types of
          evidence and contemporary laboratory
          capabilities. Visual presentations
          are used to illustrate crime scene
          examination techniques and evidence
          processing. Class meets NOV 16 and
          23.
