Before you can register for classes, you must have been formally admitted to the College (see Admission). After being admitted, you may register for classes at any campus unless you are enrolled in a restricted program (Veterinary Technology or any Health Technology program). If you are in a restricted program, you must register at your home campus.

TELEPHONE
You may register through NOVAnet, 703-323-3770 or 703-330-3770 (Prince William Co.), but you must have been formally admitted to NVCC. See the NOVAnet Telephone Registration Worksheet in this schedule for telephone registration information. If you are a hearing-impaired student or are having difficulty using telephone registration, you should contact the Counseling Service at your home campus.

IN-PERSON
You may register in person at any campus (unless you are in a restricted program) from December 17-20, 2001 and January 3-11, 2002. Campus offices are open for registration Monday through Thursday from 9:00AM to 7:30PM. On Fridays, campus offices are open for registration from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. You must pay tuition at the time of registration.

ADD/DROP
You may make schedule changes (adding or dropping courses) by using NOVAnet or on campus during the registration and add/drop periods. To add or drop a course, complete the NOVAnet Telephone Registration Worksheet in this schedule then either call NOVAnet or come in person to any Admissions and Records Office with your placement test results. We recommend that you obtain a copy of your official enrollment receipt.

IN-PERSON SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENT WITH PERMISSION
Students are advised that after the add/drop registration period ends, registering or adding a course may be done only in person during the schedule adjustment with permission period. If you wish to register or add a course during the schedule adjustment period, you must obtain written permission from both the faculty member and the division chair.
