    Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) is a two-year comprehensive community college offering college-transfer and occupational-technical programs. NVCC has five campuses (Alexandria, Annandale, Loudoun, Manassas, and Woodbridge) conveniently located throughout Northern Virginia, and an Extended Learning Institute (ELI) offering courses for home study and distance learning.
    NVCC is a part of the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) and is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia, 30033-4097, telephone number 404-679-4501) to award associate degrees, and certificates in selected occupational areas. It is the policy of VCCS and NVCC to maintain and promote equal employment and educational opportunity without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, political affiliation, or other non-merit factors in the provision of any program or activity operated by the VCCS and NVCC.
