CHAPTER 1 : STUDENT ENROLLMENT

There are four sections in this Chapter: Headcount and Full Time Equivalent Student (FTES) Enrollment, Student Profile, Enrollment by Program Type, and FTES Enrollment by Discipline.

I. Headcount and FTES Enrollment

Although headcount and FTES have declined since Fall 1992, both headcount and FTES over the period 1990 - 1995, increased by six percent. TABLE 1.1

II. Student Profile

A. Average Credit Hour Load

Student average load has been stable, with average full-time load at approximately 14 credit hours and average part-time load at 5 credit hours.

The percentage of in-state students remained over 90 percent for the period fall 1990 through fall 1995.

G. Program Placement

The majority of students continue to be program placed. The percentage of students not placed decreased from 35 percent in 1990 to 32 percent in 1995.
