FOREWORD

 

 

The Office of Institutional Research is pleased to present the fourteenth edition of the Northern Virginia Community College Fact Book.  This edition of the Fact Book is designed to serve as a readily available source of information about the College.  As in the past, all the information from the previous editions is updated, following a similar format, in order to allow users to make valid comparisons based on longitudinal data.

 

The NVCC Fact Book contains chapters on the College’s student enrollments, graduates, personnel, finances and facilities, and support services.  Chapters 7 to 11 of the Fact Book present the data for each of the five campuses separately.

 

Data and information were also included from several College services, such as the Budget Office, Office of Facilities Planning and Support Services, Media Processing, and Student Benefits and Support Services.  The cover was designed by the Office of Public Information and Publications (Graphics).  We thank the above mentioned units of the College for their continued cooperation and assistance.

 

The Northern Virginia Community College Fact Book is a product of the team efforts of the OIR staff members Margret Chang, Johan Dennett, Louise Herzfeld, Linda Hoffman, and Nadezhda Osmanova.
