Northern Virginia Community College’s (NVCC) www.nvcc.edu  Medical Education Campus (MEC) invites you to participate in the MEC Job Expoto be held on Thursday, March 4, 2010, from 10:00am-3:30pm.  

The MEC mission for this Job Expois to give employers the opportunity to recruit employees in medical fields directly from the MEC’s allied health and nursing programs. In this time of need for qualified allied health professionals, this is a perfect way to find employees conveniently and economically.

The MEC offers degrees in Dental Hygiene, Respiratory Therapy, Radiography, Sonography, Health Information Management, Physical Therapist Assistant, Medical Laboratory Technology, Emergency Medical Services Technology, and Nursing; and certificates in Phlebotomy, Massage Therapy, Rad Oncology and Clinical Data Coding. The students in these programs are trained at the state of the art Medical Education Campus, www.nvcc.edu/medical  with required clinical components throughout their education. The MEC Job Expowill be open to the community as well as students from all six NVCC campuses.

The MEC Job Expo will be held at the Medical Education Campus in Springfield, VA. The cost of the Job Expo is $125.00 per employer, which will include registration, parking, and lunch for two people ($140.00 for 3 or more people, limit 4). In addition, each participating organization will have the opportunity to be added to the Campus Career Resource Center’s job listings area.

To register your organization to participate in the 2010 MEC Job Expo, please complete the attached registration form by February 4, 2010.
