Julie L. Rogers
President, Meyer Foundation
Julie Rogers is president of the Meyer Foundation, which awards over $6 million annually to Washington, DC area nonprofit organizations. Ms. Rogers is a champion of the Northern Virginia Health Care Workforce Alliance ’s work in developing strategies to grow the region’s health care work force. She brings knowledge of the region’s outstanding nonprofit organizations as partners in this work.
Ms. Rogers currently serves on the boards of the Council on Foundations, Venture Philanthropy Partners, the Greater Washington Board of Trade, the executive committee of the Federal City Council, and the D.C. College Access Program. She is a member of the Washington Women’s Forum. Ms. Rogers was the founding chair of Washington Grantmakers and previously served on the board of the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers.
Prior to joining Meyer in 1986, Ms. Rogers was staff director of the D.C. Council’s Committee on Human Services. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and a master’s degree in teaching from George Washington University.
