Access Class Roster

  1. Log into NOVAConnect by clicking MyNOVA on the NOVA home page.
  2. Click VCCS89: Student Information System.
  3. Click Self Service.

  4. Click Faculty Center. Your schedule for the designated semester will be displayed. To change the semester that is displayed, click the Select Term drop-down menu and choose a different term.

  5. Click the Class Roster icon at the far left of the class row.
    (The roster will be displayed on the next page.)roster icon
  6. The Class Roster will display the student's name, Student ID, phone number, VCCS email address, grading basis, units and program and plan.
  7. Use the scroll bar at the bottom of the page to scroll all the way to the right side of the page to the column after Program and Plan to see the advisor name listed for any student on your roster who was assigned an advisor. 

  8. If a student is in more than one plan and has more than one advisor assigned, the term ‘Multiple Advisors’ will be displayed in the Advisor column.

  9. You can click the Print Friendly Version button on the bottom right for a print version of your class roster. NOTE: The Printer Friendly Version will not include the advisor's name.
