Change User Preferences
- Log into NOVAConnect.
- Click Self Service.
- Click Campus Personal Information.

- Click User Preferences.

- Choose Northern Virginia Community College.
- Choose your academic career.
- Enter or select a default term. To select a term, click the magnifying glass. On the next page, click the Term number for the desired term. You may have to scroll down the page to see the list of terms.
- Enter or select a default aid year. To select an aid year, click the magnifying glass. On the next page, click the desired financial aid year. You may have to scroll down the page to see the list.
- Click Save.
- Click OK.
