View Course Catalog

  1. Log into NOVAConnect by clicking my NOVA on the NOVA homepage
  2. Click VCCS89:Student Information System.
  3. Click Self Service.
  4. Click Search Classes/Browse Catalog.
  5. Select Nothern Virginia Community College as your institution.
  6. Select the appropriate term from the drop-down menu.

  7. Make sure that Browse Catalog is selected.
  8. Click Go.
  9. On the next page, the first page of the Course Catalog is displayed. To jump to a different section of the catalog, click on one of the letters in the alphabet at the top of the window.
    • To view a description of each course, click on the title of the course.
    • To view the sections of the course, click View Class Sections.

  10. When you find a class that you would like to add to your schedule, make a note of the course number. You will need the course number to add the course.
  11. Click Self Service in the navigation menu on the left side of the window to return to the main menu.
