Money for Your Bachelor’s Degree

If you plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree, check out Virginia’s Two-Year College Transfer Grant Program.

The grant pays up to $1,000 per year, with an additional $1,000 possible for students enrolled in science, teaching, engineering, mathematics or nursing programs.

You must earn an associate degree, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and follow the eligibility rules and instructions.

Prepare early for a smooth transfer. Counselors recommend starting your transfer planning four semesters before graduation.
