Students entering grades 8 to 12 are invited to apply for the Aviation Career Education (ACE) Summer Academy scheduled for July 11 to 22 at the Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College.
ACE Academy is sponsored by the Washington Suburban Chapter of the National Black Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees and the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals in collaboration with Northern Virginia Community College.
Academy participants learn about aviation history, theory of flight and other aviation-related subjects. Students will go on field trips to aviation facilities and museums and participate in other hands-on activities designed to provide a complete aviation experience.

The Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals Summer ACE Academy is a nationally recognized program co-sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Black Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees.
