Credentials to Careers to host ‘Leap Into Your New IT Career’ at NOVA-Annandale’s Ernst Center

Northern Virginia Community College’s Credentials to Careers (C2C) program will host the networking event “Leap Into Your New IT Career” from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 29 at the Annandale Campus Richard J. Ernst Community Cultural Center.

The C2C team organized this event to give NOVA students and alumni the opportunity to network with Northern Virginia employers and industry representatives in the fields of IT, computer science and cybersecurity. During Leap Into Your New IT Career, students will have the opportunity to meet potential employers interested in hiring NOVA students for full-time positions and sharing information about internship opportunities.

Register by Feb. 19 to receive 10 free personalized business cards to use for networking when you sign up for the event. C2C advises participants to dress in professional attire and to attend the event with professional resumes. A light breakfast and lunch will also be served.

This event is free for students interested in networking and seeking opportunities in the information technology, cybersecurity and computer science fields. It is also free for employers who are interested in participating. C2C encourages those employers who are unable to attend Leap Into Your New IT Career to post their job listings to the College Central Network. Participating students and employers are asked to RSVP for this event. For more information about Leap Into Your New IT Career, call (703) 503-6305.
