Hispanic Heritage Month events at NOVA-Manassas

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month
Thursday, Sept. 17, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Description:  Adult networking event in conjunction with the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (register at www.vahcc.com).
Where:  Parrish Hall

Teatro Milagro
Thursday, Oct. 1 at 11 a.m.
Description: The mission of Teatro Milagro (Miracle Theatre Group) is to share the diversity of Latin  America and advocate for global unity through theater.
Where:  Colgan Theater

Fiesta Latina
Saturday, Oct. 3, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Description: This festival of dance, food and entertainment celebrates the rich Latin American heritage and culture.

“McFarland USA”
Thursday, Oct. 15 at 8 p.m.
Description:  In this Disney movie, Kevin Costner plays a high-school football coach who leads a cross-country track team of underprivileged Latino students to a state championship. Rated PG. Free admission.
