The discussion will cover what parents need to know to motivate their children to pursue postsecondary education, the educational pipeline from GED/ESL to NOVA, President Barack Obama’s new immigration policy, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and the implications for eligible students enrolling at NOVA, services for immigrants with degrees from other countries, NOVA’s Adult Career Pathways program, and GED/ESL classes offered at Iglesia Vida Assembly of God.
Panelists will include representatives from Prince William County Public Schools Adult Education, Hogar Immigrant Services and NOVA.
