Northern Virginia Community College’s Woodbridge Campus will host the first ever Tech Week for students, faculty and staff. Tech Week, Sept. 14-17th, will offer exposure to the latest technology and services the college provides throughout the year.
Located in the Black Box Theatre, each day of Tech Week is designed to highlight products from a specific computer software company (Apple, Dell, HP and Microsoft) by offering informational mini-sessions and video demonstrations, as well as question and answer segments pertaining to usage of the products. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to win hi-tech prizes and gift cards.
NOVA-Woodbridge’s Learning & Technology Resources, consisting of the library, open computer lab (OCL), testing center, instructional support services, tutoring, and IT services, along with Year Up, will host a particular day throughout the week to provide further insight and answer questions. Tech Week is open to all NOVA students, faculty and staff.
