Northern Virginia Community College will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17 to help students prepare for the fall semester. During this time, students will be able to talk to counselors, learn about financial aid, register for courses, purchase books and more.
Student services centers (for admissions, counseling, financial aid and veterans affairs), testing centers, business offices, bookstores, parking offices and student ID services will be open at every campus.
NOVA is offering thousands of classes in more than 100 programs during the fall semester that begins Aug. 21. Additional classes start Oct. 16. Students can register 24 hours a day at www.nvcc.edu.
Day, evening and weekend classes are available at NOVA’s six campuses in Alexandria, Annandale, Loudoun, Manassas, Springfield and Woodbridge. For more flexibility, students can take online courses through NOVA’s Extended Learning Institute.
