Northern Virginia Community College will host a dog wash and rabies vaccination event on Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m..
The event, open to the public, will be held at NOVA’s Loudoun Campus at 1000 Harry Flood Byrd Highway in Sterling in the Animal Science Building (LA Building).
Students from the Veterinary Technology Club will wash small, medium and large dogs for $15, $20 and $25, respectively.
Rabies vaccinations are $15 and dog owners must bring a prior vaccination certificate to obtain a three-year vaccine; otherwise a one-year vaccine will be given.
Cash and checks will be accepted; proceeds benefit the Veterinary Technology Club.
