NOVA Woodbridge presents Lecture on Mayan prophecies: It's not the end of the world April 5 at 7 p.m.

What
On April 5 at 7 p.m., Dr. Mark Van Stone will present “It’s Not the End of the World: What the Maya Really Prophesied for 2012” in the theater at the Woodbridge Campus of Northern Virginia Community College. Van Stone is a Mayan expert specializing in hieroglyphs and calligraphy. Responding to the upsurge of interest in the Maya prophecies, Van Stone has spent the last several years researching what the ancient Maya said about 2012. After the lecture, Van Stone will sign copies of his book, “2012: Science and Prophecy of the Ancient Maya.”
