The Northern Virginia Community College Board will meet on March 21 at 4 p.m. in room 174 at the Medical Education Campus, 6699 Springfield Center Drive in Springfield.
Items on the agenda include special reports on the Health Information Systems Center of Excellence and NOVA’s military support and outreach. President Robert G. Templin Jr. will discuss the college’s administrative council, the recent General Assembly session, SACS compliance and student activities. In addition, Professor Kenneth Rasmussen will be recognized for earning the 2011 Virginia Outstanding Faculty Award.
Two committees will meet before the full Board meeting. The Building and Sites Committee will meet at 3:15 p.m. in room 218 and the Budget Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. in room 205A.
