The veterinary technology program at the Loudoun Campus of Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) will celebrate National Veterinary Technician Week with a free Open House on Oct. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. Attendees can tour the veterinary hospital and enjoy children’s activities. NOVA students and faculty will provide information about the profession and programs of study. Food and drinks will be available.

The National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America has proclaimed Oct. 10 to 16 as National Veterinary Technician Week. The event is celebrated annually to recognize veterinary technicians for their contributions to the animal health care team.
