The Lifelong Learning Institute in Manassas and NOVEC recently presented a painting to the Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College in appreciation of the College’s longtime affiliations with the organizations.
David Ward, president of the Lifelong Learning Institute, and Mike Curtis, vice president of public relations at NOVEC, presented the painting to Provost Hortense Hinton.
Ward and Curtis also presented a check to Roger Costello to purchase his artwork. “Study of Giverny” was painted by Costello in the Expressive Arts Program at Didlake Inc.
Artwork from program participants was exhibited at NOVA’s Innovation Park location during March and April. “Study of Giverny” will remain on permanent display at Innovation Park.
