The Northern Virginia Community College Board will meet on Monday, Sept. 20 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Provost’s Conference Room 233 at NOVA’s Woodbridge Campus, 15200 Neabsco Mills Road.
Items on the agenda include a report about Convocation and the reappointment of board members Dr. Jerome Barrett and Patrick Walters. A special report will highlight the Woodbridge Campus’ First Year Experience, Peer Mentoring Program and HVAC Program Certification. NOVA President Robert G. Templin, Jr. will welcome Loudoun Provost Julie Leidig, discuss the 2010-2011 College outlook, and provide an update on Southern Association of College and Schools (SACS) Reaffirmation of Accreditation.
Pre-committee meetings on budget, building and sites, and curriculum and community relations will be held prior to the start of the full board meeting.
