NOVA-Loudoun job fair aims to expand adjunct faculty

What
Northern Virginia Community College’s Loudoun Campus will host an adjunct faculty job fair on Wed., May 1, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Adjunct teaching positions are available in the following subjects: astronomy, biology, chemistry, communication studies and theatre, computer science, English, English as a second language, geography, geology (including oceanography), information technology, mathematics, meteorology, physical education, psychology, student development (college success) and political science.

Applicants must have a master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline they are interested in teaching, or a closely-related field.

Academic deans strongly recommend that candidates apply online prior to the event. A resume and unofficial transcripts should be included with all applications. Visitors who attend the fair should also bring a copy of their resume and unofficial transcripts.
