Bilkisu Goni of Centreville and Ty Jones of Manassas discussed education issues with Sen. Charles J. Colgan and Del. Jackson H. Miller on Virginia Education Association Lobby Day, Jan. 23. Goni and Jones are members of the Student Virginia Education Association at the Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College. The students traveled to Richmond with members of the Manassas Education Association, including President Kellie Blair Hardt, a NOVA graduate.
