Local resident to discuss Peace Corps experiences at Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College

Longtime Manassas resident Marilyn Scott will discuss her experiences with the Peace Corps on March 31 at 2 p.m. in Colgan Theater at the Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College. The program is free and open to the public.

As a Peace Corps volunteer, Scott taught in a primary school in Sierra Leone from 1965 to 1967.

Hosted by the Manassas Campus Honors Program, the event will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Peace Corps and Women’s History Month.
