30th Annual Ghost Train at Burke Lake Park

Northern Virginia Community College and Burke Lake Park are hosting their 30th annual “Ghost Train” community event at Burke Lake Park on Oct. 23, 24, 30 and 31 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Ghost Train celebrates its 30th year providing fun and affordable activities for children and their families in celebration of the autumn season.

The Ghost Train will feature something for all ages including a moon bounce, cotton candy, and carousel culminating with a magical train ride through the park. The train travels along the tracks depicting scenes of popular children’s stories. The cost per ticket is $4.50. Children under the age of 2 can ride for free. Donations made from the moon bounce and cotton candy will be collected and proceeds will go to support the Wounded Warrior Project.

Come share your costume, excitement and support for the season with the Recreation, Parks and Leisure Studies Program, Northern Virginia Community College in cooperation with Burke Lake Park, Fairfax County Park Authority. Burke Lake Park is located at 7315 Ox Road in Fairfax Station.
