Planning Tips, Scholarships and Free Pizza Offered at NOVA’s College Night

On Monday, Nov. 1 from 6:30 to 9 p.m., three Northern Virginia Community College Campuses will host “College Night in Virginia,” a free event that provides college planning advice. The seminar is open to everyone, no matter which colleges they are considering. Attendees will have the opportunity to register to win one of the $500 scholarships that will be awarded by a random drawing at each location.
“College Night” will begin at 6:30 p.m. with free pizza and sodas. Presentations include choosing the right college or program, understanding the financial aid process, finding scholarships and learning about the importance of completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
“College Night” will take place at NOVA’s Alexandria and Annandale Campuses, in addition to Freedom High School next to our Woodbridge Campus. For location details and additional information go to www.collegenights.org.

College Night in Virginia is funded in part through the College Access Challenge Grant, administered by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia.
