NOVA’s Woodbridge Campus at the Annual Dale City Independence Parade
September 21, 2009

NOVA’s Woodbridge Campus received first place in the business category in the Annual Dale City Independence Parade. The event took place on July 4. Each year the Campus enters the parade with faculty, staff and students as volunteers and hands out NOVA promotional items to parade watchers. Parade entries are judged based upon creativity, originality and spirit. This is the first time NOVA has received an award for its participation.
This year the Campus entered its newly decorated, vinyl wrapped Student Activities’ van. The vehicle has a full vinyl, color-printed wrap with the NOVA wordmark.
Anyone interested in getting their campus vehicle wrapped or interested in participating in the 2010 parade, please contact Tanya L. Kern at tkern@nvcc.edu.
A special thank you to the Alpha Delta Tau chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, faculty, staff, family and friends – all of whom volunteered their time and participated in this fun community event.
