Northern Virginia Community College Board meeting scheduled for September 14

The Northern Virginia Community College Board will meet on Monday, Sept. 14 at 4 p.m. in the President’s Dining Room at the Ernst Community Cultural Center on the Annandale Campus, 8333 Little River Turnpike in Annandale.
Before the meeting begins, board members will tour the recently renovated Shuler Building.
Items on the agenda include a report about Convocation and the reappointment of board member Dr. Emma Violand-Sanchez who represents Arlington County. A special report will showcase Annandale Campus faculty. NOVA President Robert G. Templin Jr. will discuss fall enrollment, the College budget, President Barack Obama’s American Graduation Initiative, H1N1 flu preparations, and the College’s relationships with local governments.
