Armed Forces Community Covenant

The second annual Armed Forces Community Covenant will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Harris Pavilion in Manassas. The free event will feature entertainment, food, games, military demonstrations, information booths and other activities.
Held in conjunction with the Greater Manassas Veterans Day Parade, the event is co-sponsored by the Woodbridge Campus of Northern Virginia Community College and the Quantico/Belvoir Regional Business Alliance Inc.
The Armed Forces Community Covenant is a formal commitment of support by the state and local community to service people and their families. The Covenant is focused on improving the quality of life for service people and their families, both at their current duty stations and as they transfer from state to state.
