A discussion with author Allen Wier

Author Allen Wier will read from his work and discuss the writing process, agents and publishing in the theater at the Woodbridge Campus of Northern Virginia Community College on April 28 at 7 p.m. Wier has published four novels, “Tehano,” “A Place for Outlaws,” “Departing as Air” and “Blanco,” and a collection of stories called “Things About to Disappear.” He is a member of the Fellowship of Southern Writers and an English professor at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where he lives with his wife, Donnie, and their son, Wesley.
