Power Up Their Pedagogy Conference

More than 300 faculty members convened to Power Up Their Pedagogy (PUP) on January 3, 4 and 7. Sponsored by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and the Professional Development Committee, NOVA faculty and staff made more than 50 presentations.
Keynote speakers included Vice President Steve Sachs of Instructional and Information Technology, "Understanding the Web 2.0 Generation – A Faculty Survival Guide” and Charlie Errico, professor of history who shared, “Professional Development Opportunities that Benefit You, Your Students, the College.” The keynote presentations were taped by NOVA-TV and will be available for your viewing at http://www.nvcc.edu/tvcenter/.
