“Aspiring Painters Workshop” will teach beginners how to draw and paint using oil pastels, watercolors and other media. Students will work from still life arrangements or photographs to learn how to develop points of interest and use colors in an artistic manner. Class discussions and critiques will help students improve. Instructor Sunny Lee has extensive experience teaching students of all ages. The class fee is $144 and a supply list will be discussed at the first session. “Aspiring Painters Workshop” will meet on Saturday mornings starting July 12 and ending Aug. 16.
“Adobe Photoshop for Photographers” will cover the features most needed by intermediate to advanced photographers who use Photoshop CS3 and CS2. Students will learn to process raw images, make adjustments using layers, retouch, sharpen and prepare photos for printing. Instructor Andy Jezioro is the president of the Manassas Warrenton Camera Club. “Adobe Photoshop for Photographers” will meet for five sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning July 15.
