Brazilian educators tour Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College

Provost Hortense Hinton and language professor Laura Franklin recently welcomed Edler Geraldo Domingues and Ruy de Oliviera to the Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College. The Brazilian educators were in the country as part of the Brazil-United States Exchange to Strengthen Vocational and Technical Education, sponsored by Higher Education for Development. After attending a symposium in Washington, D.C., the participants toured community colleges across the United States to learn about the role community colleges play in promoting economic opportunity and workforce competitiveness.
