Northern Virginia Community College announces holiday closings and extended hours

Northern Virginia Community College will be closed from Dec. 24 to Jan. 4, but online and telephone registration will be available throughout the break. Students can log on to www.nvcc.edu or call 703.323.3770 to register for the spring semester while the College is closed.

During the first two weeks in January, NOVA’s normal office hours will be extended to give students additional time to complete registration transactions in person.
From Jan. 5 to 8, campus offices will open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. On Friday, Jan. 9, offices will open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. Special Saturday hours will be observed on Jan. 10, with offices open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

From Jan. 12 to 15, offices will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. On Friday, Jan. 16, offices will open at 7:30 a.m. and close at 5 p.m.
NOVA is offering thousands of classes in more than 100 programs during the spring semester that begins Jan. 12. Additional classes start March 16.
Day, evening and weekend classes are available at NOVA’s six campuses in Alexandria, Annandale, Loudoun, Manassas, Springfield and Woodbridge, as well as three centers in Arlington, Innovation Park in Manassas and Reston. Students who prefer independent study can take distance learning courses offered by the Extended Learning Institute.
