Public Hearing: Amendments to the State Budget

The Senate Finance and House Appropriations Committees of the Virginia General Assembly will hold a public hearing on the Governor's proposed amendments to the 2008-2010 state budget as follows:

Alexandria
10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 8, 2009
Northern Virginia Community College
Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall

Those persons wishing to speak may register no earlier than 9:00 a.m. on the day of the hearing.

Speakers will be taken in the order of registration and will be asked to limit their comments to three minutes or less. Multiple speakers representing the same organization should consolidate their remarks to reduce duplication. Persons unable to attend may comment in writing to the Chairmen, Senate Finance and House Appropriations Committees, 10th Floor, General Assembly Building, Richmond, Virginia 23219.

Accommodations for individuals with physical disabilities or hearing impairment may be made by calling 804.698.7480 beginning December 10, 2008. All requests by individuals with disabilities must be received by 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2008.
