‘Photography, Post-Witnessing and the Holocaust’ With Cultural Theorist Andrea Liss

Event:The Woodbridge Campus of Northern Virginia Community College will present a discussion with Andrea Liss, contemporary art historian and cultural theorist at California State University San Marcos. Liss, author of “Trespassing through Shadows: Memory, Photography and the Holocaust,” will discuss documentary photography as it served to witness and memorialize the holocaust. The presentation is part of the NOVA photography program’s documentary project, “The New Northern Virginia.”
