Woodbridge Campus Raises Over $5000 at 2007 Aerobithon

Woodbridge Campus’ Physical Education program sponsored the 2007 Aerobithon, an annual fundraising event, on December 6. Approximately 70 students, families and friends participated in the hour-long intense aerobic session to raise money for Action in Community Through Service (ACTS) organization in Dumfries.

Held for more than 20 years, this year’s event made $5,259. Participants receive pledges for the amount of time they participate in an hour of aerobics led by Physical Education Instructor Nancy Crippen (WO)and her students.

ACTS of Prince William is a private, non-profit organization with a mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering. ACTS’ programs include food pantry services, a homeless shelter, transitional living services, day care, domestic violence prevention and intervention services and thrift stores.
