Northern Virginia Community College President Scott Ralls and Radford University President Brian O. Hemphill will sign a Guaranteed Transfer Partnership Agreement between the two institutions in an effort to strengthen their ongoing partnership. The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28 in the President’s Dining Room in the Richard J. Ernst Community Cultural Center at NOVA’s Annandale Campus, 8333 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, VA 22003.
Students taking advantage of the guaranteed transfer partnership agreement between NOVA and Radford University will seamlessly transfer from NOVA to Radford. The agreement stipulates that NOVA graduates will have guaranteed admission to Radford. The agreement also allows students to fully transfer all NOVA courses described in a NOVA-RU Curriculum Pathway to meet degree requirements in a baccalaureate program at RU without losing prior credits earned.
The new agreement outlines the criteria and describes curricular benefits that exceed those included in the existing agreement between NOVA and Radford. Remarks will be made by Ralls and Hemphill during the ceremony. NOVA and Radford welcome interested media representatives to cover the ceremony.
