NBC4 (WRC-TV) will host a Women’s History Month Celebration from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 23 at Northern Virginia Community College’s Annandale Campus, Brault Building Room 276.
Annandale Interim Provost Charlotte Calobrisi will be the mistress of ceremonies for the event. Calobrisi will also introduce the other women provosts at NOVA. President Scott Ralls will present certificates of appreciation to award-winning NOVA student athletes and the women’s cross country head coach, Nicole Mancini, who was named NJCCA Division I Atlantic Region 2015 Coach of the Year.
Mancini will present the keynote address and Allstate Insurance, a partner of NBC4 will present a $5,000 contribution to Doorways, a nonprofit organization in Arlington, Virginia, that helps victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault.
