MATH PLACEMENT TEST
MEDICAL
EDUCATION CAMPUS
TESTING CENTER
COMPASS is not a timed test
and is divided into five levels of material: pre-algebra, algebra, geometry,
college algebra, and trigonometry. However, you will only be required to solve problems based on your math skills.
The
test will begin with pre-algebra questions and as long as your answers are
correct, the computer will keep giving you more difficult questions. If you
give a wrong answer to four questions in a row the program will stop and you
will be placed into the right level.
Your
answers will determine the number of problems and the areas in which you will
be tested.
