Dear Students,
Welcome to your Medical Education Campus! At the MEC Student Services Center (SSC) we are here to serve you. Our SSC offers an array of services to promote student success. We strive to provide an assortment of learning opportunities to enhance you academic, career, and social life. I am very pleased that you chose the Medical Education Campus to pursue your studies. The campus was built because of a strong commitment to the mission of the College which is to respond to the educational needs of its dynamic and diverse community through and an array of comprehensive programs and services. The SSC is open for academic advising, counseling services, Nova Connect assistance, financial aid assistance, student activities and the health careers awareness. We also offer a “quiet study” area within the Student Services lobby each morning from 7:00-8:30 a.m. to accommodate students needing a place to study before the library opens. Please stop by at your convenience. Our hours are posted below:
*Fall and Spring Hours:
Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
Fridays 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Summer Hours:
M-R 8:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
Fridays 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Access: The Medical Education Campus is Metro accessible via the Fairfax Connector from the Springfield Metro Station on the blue line. Bus routes and schedules can be found here. Have your questions answered and obtain admissions information by attending one of our information sessions (mandatory in gaining admission to every allied health and nursing program.) http://www.nvcc.edu/medical/
